Hello, I am jessika peterson
I am a lifestyle photographer based just outside of Kansas City. I married my best friend, AJ, in December of 2019. We have created a beautiful family with our wonderful daughter Isla, who we welcomed in January of 2023, along with our two rambunctious dogs. I love to craft, especially crocheting, in my free time and I am a huge bookworm. I stay at home with my daughter when I am not out capturing photos of sweet smiles. We love to be outside as much as we can and being with our big, crazy family as much as possible. There is nothing better than being able to witness the day-to-day life of our daughter growing and learning new things every day. Photography has made that possible for me.
I love being able to contribute to my family's needs while being able to stay at home and raise Isla. It makes it even better that I enjoy what I am doing. There is something so special knowing that I am capturing sweet moments that will be frozen in time for people to look back on and love forever. Whether it be a family laughing and playing in their yard or a couple expressing how much they love each other and how excited they are to start their lives together, I love it all.
Candid moments are my favorite. The sweet babies running around like they have never had their photos taken before, the ornery giggles of siblings picking at each other, the adorable little cries of the toddlers who probably needed that nap before picture time but swore they weren't tired. I will find a good photo in there somewhere and the memories will last a lifetime.
